What an ordeal for our last day checkout!
-1- I checked in earlier and was notified a fee 2500 pesos. (Advertised online for 200 pesos) I couldn’t charge it on my card because their systems were down. I couldn’t pay in $US money either. I had to collect PHP currency and pay cash… no receipt was given to me.
-2- reserved a shuttle to the airport for 5:30am. We arrived at the front desk and was informed no shuttle that morning due transportation problems. (I’m guessing it’s too early in the morning).
Lady at front reception scheduled us to be picked up by Grab. Two vehicles needed due to our luggage. She said the hotel would pay for it as per their airport shuttle service we’re down. When the Grab drivers arrived they were paid. But both drivers mentioned about the extra fees for the terminal Skyway. Everyone looking at us to pay it, stood outside for 10 minutes on whom should cover this… finally hotel will cover the fee (they should).
-3- our suite did not have a fridge, first time I ever encounter this. We could keep our food and water chilled. So inconvenient. Overall, our stay was terrible. You get what you pay for.
