„This place is all about the view. Stunning. But you will have to walk up a billion stairs (or a long, steep ramp) to get there. True for most places in Manarola, but could be hard for those with mobility issues. It was a nice touch they provided a light breakfast for the first morning. The lack of a/c was rough, despite the sea air. It was very humid. Ceiling fans did help some. The water pressure in the shower was the best in Italy. „Jack's Tale is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The host had the apartment well stocked and with nice bedding and towels. It was updated with quality items, not an IKEA make over of things falling apart. Communication was really good and we felt the host could be relied on if something came up. The location is the BEST! I would stay here again and again!“

„This apartment is in a beautiful spot and was very clean. The layout is great with common space on first floor and two bedrooms and bathroom on second floor. The major downside is that the entire apartment smelled like a dirty diaper during our stay. We were told it was the septic system by the sea but even keeping the bathroom door closed did not lessen the odor. Thankfully we didn’t stay around the apartment except to sleep, but it’s a large price tag a place that smells so rough. “

„The property was smaller than expected from the pictures but not completely misleading. Getting to the property was challenging. The reviews say this is a small village so we expected quiet. This place is so crowded and had a party atmosphere that our family decided to only stay one night and head back to Rome on the 5am train forfeiting our last three nights.Cinque Terre is absolutely beautiful but be prepared to share it with thousands of other tourists.“
