„This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful.“

„We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country.“

„The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6.“

„This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay.“

„Cute little house with great things for kids inside. We didn’t stay long and we were there for Mammoth Cave and loved staying at the house. It is in the middle of nowhere so eating out is very limited and grocery stores are far from the location. The host was great about informing us about all of this beforehand so we could prepare and was great about giving us ideas of things to do in the area. We were fortunate that the Green River ferry was up and running so getting to Mammoth Cave was not ...

Plenty of room for our party of 5…HUGE bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds/pillows and we had we needed for a comfortable getaway. „The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend.“

„The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you“

„Ein schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Gästehaus in Bowling Green für alle Corvette Museum / Racetrack (in der Nähe) oder Mammoth Caves Besuche. Man findet wirklich alles im Gästehaus was irgendwie gebraucht werden könnte. Zwei Schlafzimmer, Küche, Bad, Wohnzimmer, eigene Zufahrt und Parkplatz. Alles top, absolut zu empfehlen !!!!!“
