Wake up and stroll the historic streets of the spa town of Great Malvern (5 miles). Visit the grand Priory and sample some Malvern Water straight from the hills at the town’s Malvhina fountain. Alternatively, head into Worcester (11 miles) to marvel at its majestic cathedral and take a stroll along the banks of the River Severn. Further afield, make a beeline for Ludlow (24 miles) to enjoy a foodie’s dream day out. Check out the delicious goodies on offer in the twice-weekly market as the medieval castle towers above you. The Malvern Three Counties Showground is around 9 miles away.

Step inside and you'll find a cosy living/dining room. Take a moment to appreciate the old property’s original hinge posts and beams, which provide a charming nod to the building's past. When it's time to eat, cook in the compact corner kitchen and share a laid-back dinner in the living/dining room. Afterwards, snuggle up on the sofa to catch up on your favourite TV shows. When the day is done, the half-landing staircase leads you to a cosy, beautifully styled double bedroom with original beams. An en-suite bathroom with a bath completes the layout. In the morning, wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the kitchen's breakfast area before setting off for a day of adventure.

Step outside and take a seat on your bench to soak up the peace of this hidden hamlet, then set off to roam the 8 acres of gardens, woodland and fields, which are shared with the site's six neighbouring cottages. On balmy evenings, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and watch the sun dip behind the Malvern Hills. Private parking is available for one car.
