„A very nice old pub in a central position in Mere The old plumbing system is extremely loud. There was no menu available - neither for breakfast nor evening meals. The meals praised on the website did not exist. The owner/chef arrived late for breakfast so early morning breakfast not available. Guests had to leave without the breakfast although included in the price.“

„eine besondere Unterkunft“

„Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.“

„Very nice pub. Good service and friendly staff. Nice room. Air conditioning a little too loud. For one night a great place to stay. “

„Room was quite small, but adequate. Bed was clean and comfortable .Shower and bathroom were very good. We would have liked to have a small fridge in the room.“

B. Bath“

„Eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre in edlem Ambiente. “

„This has so far been our favorite Hotel along this 3 1/3 weeks trip through England. We love the location. Staff is warm heartedly friendly and the restaurant really good. And it is in convenient driving distance to destinations like Averbury, Silbury Hill, Kennett Long Barrow, Stourhead Gardens, Bath …“

„Die Küche ist exzellent. Auch vegetarisch und vegan wird angeboten. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die Räumlichkeiten sind schön, alt und gepflegt. Ein spannendes Gebäude.“

„Netter Host, leckeres Frühstück, nettes und sauberes Zimmer “

„Booked a deluxe room for 2 nights. Allocated a substandard room, needing refurbishment, tired with curtains hanging off poles, dark and dingy with broken tiles in the bathroom. Staff in denial initially, eventually moved into another much better standard of room. On our departure we had no hot water. Breakfast was a poor experience too with staff in addition not informing us that Breakfast started later on a Saturday. So no breakfast that day due to our departure time. However, we attended our ...
