I like the hotel a lot and am a regular guest. The hotel is really nice and has a great rooftop. The staff is usually extremely welcoming and professional.
This time, however, the unfriendly tone of the manager at reception was quite annoying. There was a mixup because I was charged breakfast (which I did not book), and he claimed to have asked me upon check-in whether I wanted breakfast and claimed I had said yes (which I did not do). In fact, I checked in with another staff member (who was actually super friendly).
In any case, in the end, the breakfast charge was cancelled, but the tone of the manager was completely unacceptable. Should I go back to the hotel, I hope this reception manager has the same friendly, professional tone as his subordinates.
