„This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. „The cottages are great! Have everything you need to escape the city. We aren't big on fishing, but if you are, this place would be amazing for you. Fishing boats + an area for cleaning fish is available. The pool is great! The water is a little chilly, but a great reprieve on a hot day. The only negative is if you have a dog with you, there arent a ton of places to walk them that aren't just around other people's properties or a short drive away. „I stayed in the Wood Duck cottage and had an amazing time! Would definitely return. The sound of the rushing water was super peaceful, and the campground was well maintained. „My girlfriend and I stayed at the hidden nest for 5 days and had an exceptional time! The pictures don't really do it justice, the property is beautiful and so quaint. „This beautiful well kept, organized and clean cottage was a nice break away from the city! The view to the lake was calming. Loved the flowers, selection of tree's and the spacious piece of land for our dogs to run around safely. Loved the option of propane and charcoal BBQ. But our most favorite spot was the outside porch, the seating arrangements and the cushion comfort was just perfect for morning coffee and a BBQ lunch/supper. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. „Beautiful area and very peaceful! Fishing off the dock was great...caught small mouth bass on my 1st cast! Host was great and super helpful! Cottage was exactly as described and hist left some very nice welcome treats for us! We had all that we needed and more! We'll definitely be back“
