„Ich hatte Nachmittags eine Tour in der Bladnoch Distillery, die ist auf der anderen Straßenseite, so konnte ich auch die Whiskey Probe mitmachen.
Pub ist nett, bei Sonne kann man auch draußen sitzen.
Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich.
Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer hatte Dachschräge.
Abends hatte ich hier nichts gegessen, war auf dem Musikfestival in Wigtown, 15-20min zu Fuß, Straße hat Fußweg, ist spät Abends aber sehr dunkel, Taschenlampe leistet da gute Dienste.“
„Room were clean, but the best times of this place already have passed. Service didn’t exist much. We arrived late and a document and keys were at the reception. We informed before that we arrive around 11 pm. Nobody was available at reception to welcome us and show our rooms. We spend about 1/2 hour to figure out were our rooms were, exploring the entire ground floor area and first floor. „When we arrived at the hotel it didn't look anything special from the outside. On entering into the small reception we received a very warm welcome and given some local information. We were directed to our room which was very spacious, clean and a nice outlook .
The bed was very comfortable although I found the room warm but my husband slept right through the night, which is unusual for him.
We opted to have dinner in the hotel and although a bit pricy we were very happy with what we ordered.

„This is a room above a pub. It is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. It is small but functional with a comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and extremely accommodating. Breakfast is free and so is the clean fresh air. Food is excellent and the place is pet friendly. Its about 35 mins to the ferry but worth the journey.“
„Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt über dem Meer gelegen kann man von oben auf den Hafen und das Meer sehen. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus selber ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sehr gut gepflegt. Zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant „Connoer´s“ gutes Essen direkt am Hafen. Vorher zu reservieren ist sinnvoll.“
„This was the best accommodation that we had in our whole two weeks in the UK. The owners are absolutely lovely and amazing, the dinner was divine, the breakfast was very tasty and the setting of the lighthouse right at the coast is absolutely stunning. Also, our dog was very welcome and loved it.
