Once home to a much-loved restaurant and formerly the Mount Macedon Bakery, the property has been transformed into a striking modern masterpiece celebrating recycled and reclaimed materials. The grand entrance features beautiful field stones and rocks, while Oregon beams salvaged from a former Docklands warehouse add warmth, character and a wonderful sense of history throughout the home.

Designed for both relaxation and entertaining, Tanglin features four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a chef's kitchen, along with a grand piano and expansive living spaces that invite you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Two of the bathrooms feature luxurious baths, while the tiled and heated lap pool is enclosed by double-glazed Therma Energy Advantage glass, creating a beautiful space to swim and unwind in every season. Step outside to wander through the gardens, take in the peaceful rural views and listen to the sounds of the local wildlife.

Please note that the property is not fenced and pets are not permitted. The garage is not available to guests, however there is off-street parking for up to five cars.

We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.

Your booking is for the whole property. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided for your convenience.
