„Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. „What an excellent property we found! 12 of us stayed for mum's 65th birthday. Welcomed to the smell of mulled wine & mince pies. Nicely decorated for Christmas throughout. Fantastic, peaceful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. No need to take anything other than clothes, the property had everything needed. Owners were fantastic. Great communction beforehand. Would definitely return again.“

„We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. „Das Cottage braucht dringend Investitionen in die Ausstattung. Die Sofas sind beispielsweise fleckig und durchgesessen. Der Teppich sieht sehr verbraucht aus. Die Handtücher waren grenzwertig verfleckt mit Bleiche und nicht näher zu definierenden braunen Flecken. Drei Lampen hatten defekte Glühbirnen als wir ankamen. Auch funktionell gab es Defizite. Die Türe im einen Bad schließt nicht. In einem der Schlafzimmer schließt die Türe auch nicht. Beide Bäder können nicht zeitgleich benutzt werden. ...

„Property was very nicely decorated with a cosy feel with contemporary fixtures and fittings. Location was great - nice and rural, but close to Tideswell and Monsel Head. In the couple of days we were there we visited Bakewell, Hathersage and walked Castleton and Mam Tor. We love the area and would certainly stay here again. “

„Amazing stay, with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and en-suite. The lodge is detached from a large house but there is dedicated access and the location is perfect! Just round the corner from Heaton Park, which is a lovely bonus. If you want some autonomy and the ability to cook, this is fantastic, one of the best stays I have had and I travel a lot.“
