„My husband stayed at Deangate Motel due to working locally. The motel was clean staff helpful in that they let him keep the same room when he extended his stay due to not finishing his work on time. The room he was in he could see his work van clearly and the carpark was super safe as it joined the police station carpark so gave him peace of mind .will stay again as a couple so we can explore the area locally which is walking distance to Lydney. Beautiful countryside for walking.“

„Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday ...

„Good communication from hosts and parking is easy. The photo's of the property don't do it just as its bigger than it looks, ideal for 2 people. Good location and good friendly pub 2 minutes walk away with good food and drink.Would highly recommend and would stay again if in this area.“

„The owners have done a fantastic job in converting the lambing shed into a cosy & comfortable holiday retreat. We went for Christmas week and not only was the cottage super clean but they had also spent considerable time putting up a wonderful Christmas tree & Christmas decorations. The log fire was a real treat and we were very grateful to have a tour of the farm. Highly recommended.“

„Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood.“

„I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.“
