„We were walking the Pennine Way and stopped off at Bongate House after reaching Dufton and after walking/backpacking for most of the day. „This has to be the craziest room I've ever stayed in, in a good way. The floors were sloped the furniture was sloping in line with the floors. Bed comfy amd bathroom was nice and clean. If you are after a quirky stay then this place is for you.“

„Lovely hotel in beautiful location in the Pennines.“

„Excellent value for money. The room was spacious with an exceptionally large bathroom including a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Breakfast was good quality even if the options were limited. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would be happy to stay here again.“

„You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. For the price, it's not what I had expected from the room & amenities“
