"Unsere Gastgeberin hat sich wunderbar um uns gekümmert und war immer kurzfristig erreichbar. Ein toller Mensch! Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, sogar ein sehr schöner elektrischer Wandkamin. Einig das Internet war ein Problem, da es sehr instabil ist und häufig die Verbindung unterbrochen ist (es ist eine sehr ländliche Gegend mit schwachem Mobilfunkempfang, das auch vom Wetter abhängt). Für Mails und Surfen im Urlaub reicht es. Wenn man stabiles Internet für die Arbeit braucht (was bei mir der Fall ist), dann funktioniert es nicht gut. Zum Glück hatten wir einen mobilen Router mit Verstärkerantenne und damit hatten wir ein gutes Signal. Dann reicht es auch fürs Videostreaming. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, tolle Lage, Spielplatz, Pool (gegen Aufpreis, in der Ferienanlage zu zahlen) und viele Wandermöglichkeiten."

"The house is nicely decorated and was very clean. We only had to get rid of a large number of spiders, but that was due to our arachnophobia. It is a place where one can really calm down and relax and it´s great that dogs are allowed. We enjoyed walking along the coast and down to the "beach" where we saw some quite "dramatic" sunsets. The only downside was, that the 2 lower bedrooms were damp so that we needed to keep dehumidifiers running. But still one of the bedrooms had a quite unpleasant mouldy smell to it. Travelling as a party of four, we fortunately could switch to another bedroom upstairs. Nevertheless we felt very comfortable and highly recommend a stay in this beautiful house in this beautiful setting."

"The Corn Store is a perfect little retreat, the interior design very tasteful and comfortable... The hosts are charming, our four nights could not have been better! Thank you Riki and Martin for creating this lovely space!"

"It was absolutely perfect. Riki is a great host, the barn is lovingly and cosily decorated, very clean and you will find everything you need. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a modern shower and towel warmer.There is everything from a washing machine, dryer and ironing board. There is a seat in front of the door from where you can watch the birds at the feeding station. Riki has a lot of information ready in a folder and is also personally available for any question and a nice conversation. We also had very nice e-mail contact with her before our trip. I would come back anytime to stay here. For us it was one of the most beautiful places we have been to, the nature is wonderful and the people are very friendly. Driving was a bit of a challenge, but manageable due to the considerate way of driving in Cornwall. There are so many beautiful places in the vicinity, and Riki's map is a good help to find everything. We would have liked to stay longer as there was so much to discover and we felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you Riki and Martin for a lovely stay with you."

"Das Hartland Quay ist ein Hotel in außergewöhnlicher Lage, direkt am Meer mit fantastischer Natur drum herum. Das Hotel ist modern und schön eingerichtet sowie sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da wir am nächsten Tag früh loswandern wollten, hat man uns ein frühes Frühstück auf dem Zimmer ermöglicht, das war spitze. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt."
