Grab your fishing gear and take advantage of the property’s five fishing pools, or head into Ludlow (3 miles) to explore its 10th century castle, browse its antique shops and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. Further afield, pull on your hiking boots and explore the beautiful Shropshire Hills (17.5 miles).


Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that’s bathed in natural light, clad in rustic wood and adorned in natural fabrics. Head to the sleek kitchen area to whip up a romantic dinner for two and enjoy an intimate meal at the dining table. Open up the lodge’s patio doors so you can listen to birdsong while you dine. After dinner, slip onto a sofa to snuggle in front of the TV. When it’s time for bed, make your way to the cosy King-size bedroom. In the morning you’ll wake up to glorious waterfront views.


Making the most of the great outdoors is easy at this lodge. Fish in one of the property’s fishing pools or spot wildlife on the lawn. Fire up the charcoal BBQ and dine alfresco on the private patio overlooking one of the pools. If you want to go for a romantic walk, you have 20 acres of beautiful grounds for you to explore.
