The Shep- Tech Terrace Cottage

Located in the Tech Terrace just south of Texas Tech University. The block is residential with older bungalows and some rental properties; short walks to campus, student dining, coffee shops and small grocery/convenience stores along University Avenue. Nearby greenspace and neighborhood parks are within a few blocks; the area mixes family households and student renters, and is considered one of Lubbock’s more walkable, central neighborhoods.

Very walkable to Texas Tech campus and nearby restaurants/shops. Biking is common and bike lanes/quiet residential streets make cycling practical. Lubbock Citibus local bus routes serve major corridors — check Citibus maps for exact routes. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and local taxis operate in the area. Lime scooters are a student favorite and are readily available in the area!

The property boasts a gated entrance with covered parking. The gate, measuring 8 feet 11 inches in width and swinging inward, might be a bit challenging for larger vehicles. However, guests are more than welcome to park their vehicles in the driveway just before the gate still remaining off street.

This is a sister property, and while no areas are shared, there might be other guests present at the home located in the front.
