We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend “

„This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ...
