As a first and second floor apartment, The Old Carriage Works provides a lovely space for your Cornish staycation. The sitting room offers two comfy sofas, Freeview Television and a dining table with seating for four guests. The magic of this property lies within its stunning original features, from exposed stonewalling to large arched windows that allow natural light to pour into the space. Continue into the sleek kitchen, where you will find everything you'll need during your stay, including an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. On this floor you will also find a separate WC.

Head upstairs to discover the two cosy bedrooms. Bedroom one hosts a sumptuous double bed, promising a restful night's sleep and an en-suite complete with a shower, WC and wash-basin. Bedroom two provides two single beds, which can be made up as a super-king, on request. Both bedrooms have sloped wooden ceilings, exposed beams and velux windows, adding to the character of the space. Please take care under the low sloped ceilings. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

Outside, the tranquil River Fowey trickles passed The Old Carriage Works and ducks paddle in the shallows. To the other side of the property, you will find Lostwithiel Railway Station. The station provides an opportunity to visit an abundance of Cornwall's charming towns with complete ease and without the need for a car. Visit the popular towns of St Ives, Penzance and Falmouth on the railway line. And whilst being settled in the hidden gem of Lostwithiel, you are close to the wonderful Eden Project and the stunning south coast towns of Fowey, Looe and Polperro.
