This property is in a shabby sketchy neighborhood. The back alley to the parking garage is littered with trash & random cars with their hazard lights on that's always blocking the pathway. This is a ground floor apartment so you do not have a view of the street or the city. In fact it's facing another set of run down apartments with tarps covering their balcony. Terrible view. We went to walk the neighborhood, and as soon as we started, we encountered human feces on the sidewalk & a homeless person walking toward our group mumbling things. We cut the walk short. Inside the apartment, furnishings are nice. The oven was not cleaned before we arrived. Preheated it one night for dinner, and the oven was smoking so badly it set off the smoke alarm. We put a light to the oven bottom and it was visibly soiled with stains and grease which is what caused it to smoke. On top of that once we checked out, I get a notification of a 150 fee for a broken chair. This said chair upon arrival was propped in the corner against the wall which leads me to believe it was alrdy broken and this is a money grab. I have stayed at several rental properties, without any problems, and would NEVER break anything or have any mishap without notifying The Host. I am disputing the charge. This is the worst experience I've ever had & I will definitely not book again.
