Our cozy and well-appointed Airbnb is designed to provide you with all the comforts of home. Sink into the oversized sectional as you catch up on your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV, or simply enjoy the company of friends and family in this cozy atmosphere.

The Garden:
The Oasis` lush garden and pool area is surrounded by 16 ft hedges for ultimate relaxation and privacy. Lounge by the pool on the travertine marble patio overlooked by towering bougainvillea and various fruit trees including fig, pomegranate, kumquat, tangelo, blood orange, and key limes all fruiting at various times throughout the year. After a day in the sun cozy up by the fire pit and roast some marshmallows under the stars. Depending on the time of year some trees may shed their leaves or not be fruiting.

The Pool:
This oldie but goodie is left over from the days of diving boards and comes with `deep` end and `shallow` end. Please note the pool is not heated and can be quite chilly from mid-October through April/May depending on the temps outside. Otherwise, the water is heated by the `Valley` Sun and is perfect for relaxing. The pool is serviced and cleaned weekly and is being refinished at the end of April 2025.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the San Fernando Valley our Airbnb offers easy access to all that Los Angeles has to offer. The Oasis is close in proximity to Ventura Blvd and the 101 & 405 freeways.

Explore the natural beauty of the area with a hike in nearby parks such as Lake Balboa Park or Topanga State Park. Discover the rich cultural heritage of Los Angeles with a visit to the Getty Center or the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. And of course, no visit to LA would be complete without indulging in some world-class dining and shopping along the famed Sunset Boulevard.

The Oasis was originally built in 1950 as one of the first homes in the new neighborhood of `Reseda`. You can still see the original builder`s sidewalk stamp in the concrete sidewalks around the neighborhood around the property.

Due to the area and age of the home, it`s not abnormal to observe small cracks appearing on the walls or some of the doors sticking as they go `out of square`.

Our garden pool is old school, oversized, and not heated. May through September it`s a wonderful temperature headed by `the Valley` sun. October through April it`s a nice water feature perfect for your morning cold plunges :)
