I traveled to LA with my three kids and landed at LAX at 11 p.m. After booking and paying and before our arrival, I tried to contact these people several times, but I didn't receive any communication. On the day I was flying to LA from Toronto, my tour guide said the address of our pick-up place was a restaurant. Again, I tried contacting the host via text message and email and calling the phone number on the listing, but no one answered. After I called VRBO, they told me they couldn't do anything until check-in time, when I would be in the air. The host finally contacted me just before my flight and told me not to worry, that this was common practice, and that they would have everything ready for me, but they did not give me check-in details, even though we were landing at 11 p.m. I specifically told her not to leave my family and me stranded at LAX late at night.When we landed, I received a message from the host cancelling my nine-day rental and a refund from VRBO, leaving my family and I stranded at LAX at 11 pm after a 5-hour flight. GROSS Practice! I would NEVER recommend them!
