„Loved the location. The stairs are steep so not good with kids or those with joint issue. I asked to see the garden twice with no response from host so I was disappointed with that. The air conditioning units in windows cooled the place effectively. Facility provided everything you needed. Loved that we could bring our pets! There is a pet deposit that is not mentioned in listing so be aware of that. Overall enjoyed our stay. “

„If you like the serenity of a quiet lake, a comfotable porch overlooking the water and the delightful sounds of birds, then this is the place for you. Even your car or truck is under cover and on a paved surface, so no walking in mud or wet grass. There's even a back deck ans grill for more privacy. “

„We had no problems getting our boats through. Kids fished in kayaks and we could see them and not worry. Its quiet and peaceful. If you are planning on having more than 4 or 5 plan during a season people can sleep on the large enclosed porch. Two of our bunch slept out there and we had no problems. Screen doors lock. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.“

„This place was perfect for our little kayakung trip. The trail through, and to, Clear Lake was definitely our favorite. The location was perfect and the property as advertised. Caddo Lake State Park was close by, just a short drive away.“

„We were very happy to be in such a beautiful setting! Everything was great and Donna and Paul were very nice and helpful. I need to point out one thing though. Please be careful using the plywood steps into the childrens loft. It has big splinters broken off and my little granddaughter cut her big toe on it. It is a savety issue that can easily be fixed. We would gladly come back again. “

„Ohmygoodness! If you want to stay in the bayou, THIS is the place! Weve never been to a bayou before, and the noght noises were amazing! We hoped for an aligator, but we only saw bubbles...and we were still thrilled!“

„I would highly recommend this property. Everything was just as perfect as the pictures showed. Each room was well stocked and clean. I cannot say enough positive things about the host, Nan. She was attentive and made the check in process so easy. The fishing and kayaking were fabulous the.downstairs basement was a great entertaining area. Lots to do. We will definitely be back. “

„Took myself a little "man" retreat here to spend some focused time on a project. I setup on the huge patio. Internet was great. Outdoors was quiet, especially later in the evening when there was next to no traffic on the nearby road. It was just absolutely perfect in every way. I saw old reviews mention the bed needing replacement and I believe that it has been as it was also perfect.“
