„Originally we had planned to rent a mobile home to go on holiday but due to 10 days of rain (more or less) the decision to rent a flat was much better. And choosing this wonderful cosy, comfortable flat was the best idea of the year. The children felt at home imediately and had a lot of room to play inside and outside. We all fell in love with the ducks, the view over Solway and the beautiful garden. Within an hour's drive we had wonderful hikes in the Lake District, time on the seaside, a tour ...

„Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended.“

It's in a wonderful quiet spot with lovely views and the chance for a quick dip in The Tyne if you can face the cold.Everything was as described, a great kitchen for cooking, lots of shared space and lovely comfortable bed rooms. Check in / out was a breeze.Perfect location for long walks, exploring Hadrians Wall etc. Would really recommend The Kirkstyle Inn for the BEST Sunday Lunch too “

„We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. “
