„My husband and I enjoyed our stay, but our 8 month old lab LOVED it! We enjoyed the horses coming by for a carrot now and then. The cabin was nice and I especially appreciated the bed and linens. Kitchen was as advertised and the hot tub was great!It’s in a great area for hiking which we did even though it rained a good bit while we were there.“

The bathrooms were small and toiletries were not provided but they were clean and the water pressure in the shower was great and the hot water didn’t run out. „This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Our favorite part was the location, it was 10-15 minutes from all of the trails/tourist attractions. The property was well maintained, extremely clean, and up to date! Perfect place for your visit to New River Gorge NP!“

Overall, the property was clean, but the carpet is overdue for replacement, due to age and stains.. I did get a nail in my heel from the transition piece between the dining room and the kitchen. „Very welcoming when you stepped into the house. Thoughtful arrangements (we love the game room, and those information flyers and maps under the TV). The house is beside Route 19 but in a quiet neighborhood. You can walk to the New Gorge River bridge (i.e., on Bridge Day) or you can drive for 5 mins. Very close to multiple restaurants and a gas station. Short drive to Long Point trailhead as well. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and highly recommended.“
