We checked in for a one night stay. The room was cute and clean.
Immediately after checking in, we realized we were in a room surrounded by a band. This band was rehersing for a show and playing instruments and singing loudly. We kindly asked the front desk to move our rooms to which we were told the hotel was full, but we were able to see into the rooms on he ground floor and several remained empty the entire night.
The staff told us they would tell the band that they need to be quiet by 10pm and we decided to leave and go for a walk to avoid the noise as it was only about 6pm.
We went for a walk on the beach and were waiting to catch the sunset when we got a call from the hotel telling us that our vehicle was blocking in someone's boat. As we had parked in a marked parking spot in the parking lot, we were very confused but we were told it was the type of vehicle we had and despite having written down the license plate when we checked in, they did not take the time to confirm this and asked us to come back.
We subsequently missed the sunset, only to get back to the hotel and realize it was not even our vehicle that was in the way.
We then proceed to almost get hit by the car of one of the band members who was backing out of a parking lot without looking. My boyfriend had to shove me out of the way and had he not realized that the car was moving, the driver would have hit us both. We had to yell out to get him to stop.
We left again for dinner and returned shortly af
