„Everything was great with 2 exceptions… (1) the wall outlet at the head of the queen bed did not have a cover (bare wiring visible and potential shock hazard), and (2) the hot and cold water faucets in the 2nd bathroom (the one with just the shower) were plumbed backwards —- expected cold faucet comes out hot, and vice-versa (another potential hazard). What can you do about these issues?“

„Everything was as described. The cottage was clean and cozy, the hot tub was clean. The only thing I would warn about is the terrain is uneven, so if you have mobility concerns, you may want to take that into consideration. I do believe the host did a good job describing the area. The walk to the beach is all on sand and was a little rough on my knees. But the hot tub helped with that! We had a nice relaxing stay.“

„It was all we had expected and more. Five friends having a getaway; and it was wonderful. The amenities were all over and above in every way. Space, comfort, amenities and location were all top notch. Definitely recommend and if we are ever in area again; will certainly stay there.“

„My family and I had a great stay at the Troll House while we were in town for a family wedding. The rooms were cozy, but had exactly what we needed, and my kids loved checking out the troll hole under the stairs. The bikes came in handy when we needed to ride over for some of the wedding activities at different beach stops, so that was fantastic! „This place has a beautiful view over housetops of the lake. Lots of seating on two decks for the view. Plenty of parking.The house accommodated our group of 15, with spaces to eat, put together a puzzle, play board games and be in the same area. A short walk to the beach. The host answered our questions quickly before arrival. The place is older but clean. The kitchen was supplied with nice pans and basic dishes.“

"The rooms are big and clean. The beds comfortable. The bathroom is quite clean as well, but everything a bit old. The drain of the bath tube is cloged and drains very very slowly. The Building is funny, a bit like a maze with many doors and corridors. Breakfast was from 6 to 9. At quarter to nine the women announced quite roughly, that she will closing in 15 min. At 9 it is like an throwing out. The breakfast itself is ok, they offered yoghurt, bananas, one type of jam, kind of cereals. Euch bread/ bagel was wrapped in a zip log bag (not necessary in our opinion). As in all american motels all dishes are completetely one way which produces a giant mount of trash. "
