Absolutely amazing 1150 sq. ft. interior designed two bedroom quiet apartment with own courtyard garden. The apartment has been finished to the highest of standards in the heart of South Kensington and is close to all the amenities and landmarks of London, with a wide range of restaurants and bars close at hand and Gloucester Road tube station only a 4 minute walk away. The apartment is equipped with everything you will need from toasters, kettles and linen, to TV and wifi along with portable A/c and fans. Truly exceptional, you will not be disappointed. 5 Star Review: The Perfect Mother-Daughter Trip to London

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming vacation rental in South Kensington! The location could not have been better—everything you could possibly need is just a short walk away. From cozy cafés and world-class restaurants to boutiques and local markets, the area is both vibrant and incredibly convenient. Public transit is also just around the corner, making it easy to explore the rest of London.The unit itself is beautifully decorated with a stylish yet cozy feel. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a true home away from home. Perfect stay for our family

I loved absolutely everything about our stay…the location, the accommodations, the decor. It had every comfort of home and then some. Our group was two adults and two toddlers, and the flat was perfect. Comfortable beds, zero street noise, dark curtains, well stocked kitchen, close to the park, museums and restaurants and incredibly safe. By the end of our trip, we felt like locals. I also really appreciated the flexibility of letting us check in early which dramatically improved our experience of international travel with small children. We will absolutely stay here again. 10/10

Lovely Stay

This was a very comfortable and enjoyable spot for our family to stay during our visit to London. It’s a great location and close to the Gloucester tube and a pleasant walk to Kensington Gardens and South Kensington. It’s very easy to get to the flat from Heathrow using the Piccadilly line. Our teenagers did not enjoy the noise of the schoolchildren every weekday morning, but it helped us get them up and going in the mornings!

Loved It

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful flat. It’s exactly what we thought it would be from the listing. Lucy is responsive and polite. The flat is well kept. Absolutely loved the area, tons of eating options. A small grocery store within walking distance as well as a the underground. Having the underground close by was a life saver, really have no reason for a car with the location of this flat.

Comfortable and convenient stay-- exactly as advertised!

We stayed for 4 nights to visit our daughter who was studying abroad. The property and location were perfect. A short walk to the tube station and grocery store for supplies, great natural light and high ceilings (even though it is a garden-level unit), and equipped with everything we needed! Our teens noted the beds were very comfortable.We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Stay

My husband and I brought our three adult daughters to the UK for Christmas. We ended our stay in London at this VRBO in South Kensington. Lucy was very easy to work with and arranged for us to have a check-in that accommodated our travel schedule. She responded quickly to messages leading up to our stay and during our stay. The property is in South Kensington about a block off of a main street that has a grocery store, pubs, other shops, and a tube station. It could not have been more convenient. The property itself is in a beautiful, quiet, clean residential area. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-cared-for and has plenty of space even for five adults. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the pots, pans, etc. to cook most anything. We cooked breakfast and dinner here on Christmas Day. We would stay here again without any hesitation.

Absolutely fabulous!

Communication with the owner and entry instructions were excellent. The apartment was welcoming and comfortable. We spent four very cold days in London, and every day, we looked forward to returning to our warm nest. Everything was perfect, including the location near multiple tube stops and the neighborhoods with many interesting shops and restaurants. We were so happy in the apartment that we stayed in for a few evenings and had delivery and take-away dinners. I highly recommend it.

Don’t hesitate, book immediately

Our family of two adults and two tweens loved our stay at this flat. Location is perfect – short walk to the Tube, large Waitrose next to the Tube station, a Saintsbury’s about ½ mile away; many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs (1/2 price Mezze Mondays at Comptoir Libanais, breakfast at Zack’s, Pizza Express on Cromwell Rd. for kids). The flat is equal parts stylish and comfortable. Light filled, comfortable beds and linens (note: washcloths/flannels not provided, pack your own), the ½ bath is a game changer for family travel, comfortable LR furniture, recently renovated so appreciated multiple outlets, excellent lighting with dimmers, it was a delight to return to after a day of sightseeing. Kitchen was well stocked, though we only prepared coffee and toast in the mornings. Electric kettle, espresso maker and a French press but no drip coffee maker so prepare for that; dishwasher was nice to have; never used the W/D but appreciated that instruction manuals for all appliances were provided. As others noted, the flat is at basement level. We found the stairs leading down easy to maneuver even with luggage but older folks or anyone with mobility issues should take that into consideration. We also found the flat to be quiet, but we were out and about early each day so street noise and the nearby school did not disrupt us; we use white noise apps so if you are concerned about noise, just do that. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Overall, just a lovely space.

Special Spot in South Kensington

Charming, modern, spacious and squeaky clean! This was an ideal spot for 4 adults and an infant on a long weekend in London. Lovely stay in South Kensington

This apartment was a wonderful place for our family to stay and explore London. It’s in a nice area and has lovely decor. The Gloucester Road tube station is only a few blocks away and we used the tube to get around the entire time. There are a few grocery stores and lots of places to dine in walking distance. Perfect location for a family vacation in London, and Lucy was a delight to work with and answered all our questions.

Wonderful stay with teens

We were very happy with all aspects of our stay here! The host, Lucy, was very communicative both before check-in and as needed throughout our stay and the procedures for getting into and navigating within the flat were well outlined. The unit is below street level and this served us very well in the warmth of late June. We brought sunny weather to London with us and with temps between 75-85, all rooms were comfortable day and night. The floor fans were enough to keep us cool. Being sensitive to mold/mildew, I was worried about the ground level location, but it was totally fine. Also, maybe it is magic, but it is just about as bright as in the pictures too! We were there for 5 nights with 3 teens who split the time on the sofa bed in the main room. If you have someone who doesn't mind a bumpy surface and a bit too much light in the early morning, you will be fine. Otherwise, I would recommend this listing as a VERY comfortable 4 person capacity. The twin beds and large queen were great and those 4 people had outstanding nights. Thoughtful details like charging ports, directions for the appliances and TV and a beautiful bathroom made things easy. The kitchen was great, but cooking a gourmet meal for 5 was a stretch in terms of prep tools. (not that we did more than pasta and breakfast!) I recommend Lucy's place to anyone. The location was posh, lovely, and quiet-around the corner from the Gloucester Rd tube and a nice Waitrose supermarket and coffee shops.Thank you Lucy!

Perfect place to stay

My daughter was touring colleges and we were very fortunate to find this lovely place. It was newly renovated and has everything you need! Plus, the location was perfect. It was beautiful from the wallpaper to the lighting. I highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to London.
