„It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

„Beautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day.“
„Gerne nutzen wir dieses Hotel als preisgünstige Unterkunft zu einem Familienbesuch in der Nähe für einige Tage. Das Hotel liegt zentral an der Hauptstraße - wobei man von dem Straßenlärm bei geschlossenem Fenster (das ist nach dem Lüften von der Zimmerluft her kein Problem) fast nichts hört.
Die Zimmer werden täglich zu unserer Zufriedenheit gereinigt und täglich liegen frische Handtücher bereit. Dass die Einrichtung minimalistisch ist wußten wir vorher, und entsprechend der Hotelklasse ...

Only one thing to note. Heating hadn't been put on, so rooms rather chilly..bath towels didn't dry. This should have been noted by manager.

„Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.“

Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.“

"The Hotel was ok. When we arrived I gave the license plate of the car at the reception but we still got a trafic violation ticket for parking at the parking lot of the hotel. That was pricy and annoying, because we had a rentel car and where charged extra by the rental car company. When I asked Reglan Lodge to help sort this out, I didn't even get a reply. So thanks for the stay that now costs us mmore then 3times the hotelprice! "
