„Hotel liegt außerhalb in einer ruhigen Lage. Schöne Außenanlage.Haus ist etwas veraltert und innen die Gänge ziemlich verwinkelt. Zimmer waren geräumig und kompfortabel. Leckeres englisches Frühstück.“

„Lovely Victorian hotel in great location with a steep history. Unfortunately the hotel seems to be in a time warp and not in touch with modern day competition with regards to room quality tv, bed, furnishings. The dining options were extremely close windowed and not flexible. Breakfast was really poor quality with limited choice with many expected food items not bailable or offered. It seemed to be more in line with a seaside bed and breakfast offering rather than what appeared to be a 4 star ...

„Being on the ground floor was quite noisy at times and the other guests would close the front door quite forcefully which kept on disturbing me.“

„Overall good stay Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future. The front rooms are within hearing of the village clock but didn’t give much issue. Rooms were good, plently if hot water and nice cooked breakfast from the friendly host Tim. “

„The property is very central, near to shops and restaurants but tucked away so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Tom, the host, was very helpful and chatty. Altogether a great experience. I will definitely return and recommend it to others“
