When I arrived to check in, it looked dingy and smelled older. It did not look like the Bright clean place shown on the Expedia listing. The young lady at the front desk was just sweet as she could be and very friendly and helpful. I went to my room and I was horrified. It was dirty, looking, all chipped up on the walls, it was on a smoking floor, where the room itself was not a smoking room, but the musty smoke smell that permeated the area. It smelled moldy and mildewy, the bedding had dark stains all over it, it was literally the filthiest nastiest motel I have ever seen. I literally felt grossed out to touch anything in the room and was honestly afraid that it looked like the kind of place. I might get bedbugs. There was no hot water. When I notified the front desk staff that I needed to cancel my stay as I had reserved several days at this location and my Expedia booking said that it could not be canceled because it was already the day of check-in, we had to contact Expedia customer service who did issue a full refund because of the conditions. The young lady was so sweet and tried to show me some other rooms in theremotel that would be better, but honestly, I didn’t think they were that much better. When I was finally able to gather my things and leave , I noticed that mixed in with that cigarette smoke smell I could also smell marijuana. It definitely gave crack den vibes.
