Beautiful place and excellent location

We loved the little beach apartment. It was very comfortable for the three of us. The view was amazing! Within a short walk of several options for dinner and morning coffee. We spent time at the beach where there was a tiki bar and sand volleyball court. Can’t wait to come back again!

Week Long Stay at the FLH Ericeira Flat

My partner and I stayed at the FLH Ericeira Flat for about 5 days. We sent it on this listing after seeing the picture of the incredible view. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! It was such a great outdoor space to eat, drink coffee, play cribbage, and sip on wine while the sun went down. We even got engaged on the deck :) The flat was also nice for staying in and cooking since we were there for so long. The kitchen has most everything we needed (had to purchase some basic cooking items like oil and simple spices) to cook a full meal. The only downsides to the stay was the inability for the flat to stay completely dry. I'm sure it's due to the proximity of the water, but our bedsheets, towels and clothes (pretty much any fabric in the flat, always felt slightly damp. We also were only given a few towels for our long stay, and due to the dampness, they got to be a little gross. We were on a 15 day trip in Europe so we actually did some laundry at a local laundromat and just threw our towels in with the rest of our wash. These were really the ONLY downsides, which given the beauty of the space and view, were not big issues. The flat is also in a great location; easy to get to the beach, markets, and the center of Ericeira. We had an incredible stay here and we just kept saying we couldn't believe this place was available - SO beautiful!!

You cannot beat the location, you a literally steps from the beach. The town is so cute, we enjoyed spending our mornings in the town square sipping espresso and people watching. The property itself left a lot to be desired. There was no flexibility for early checkin which after flying overnight and being up for over 24hrs would have been appreciated. The photos from the listing are heavily photoshopped or dated. The AC did not work, you could not shut the bathroom door as it scraped against the tile and we did not want to risk breaking it. There was zero communication with the host, they never checked in with us during our stay. We were not overly impressed.

Side from the quirky check-in process. Our stay was awesome. We love the place, we love the location. As a surfer I was able to surf right out front. Location to everything, restaurants shopping was close. Laundromat was within walking distance. I would recommend this place Note, The streets are Narrow and there’s no parking. So if you come by car, be prepared to park away and walk to the property. Check-in was a bit of a pain. At this particular moment, they were remodeling and did not put the number of the residence on the outside wall. Along with the keys, not matching the lock. That along with the narrow streets and no parking made it difficult. But the owner made up for it by being on site and helping us get the correct keys. Also brought extra fans and was super kind and apologetic. My only suggestion would be to find a better way of check-in maybe a lockbox or something to keep it simple .

insane spot right above surf break in the heart of town

loved this hidden gem! wake up just above the beach no houses in front to check waves off balcony then walk 5 minutes to get a coffee. in the north middle section of ericeira w/ fun beach break wave right out front & a reef break out to the right with no crowds, better reef waves 1-2km north & 2-3km south. The only issue was checking in as I was told to download the app & all the info was in there but found out they were suppose to send an email of where to get my key for the house which is at one of their FLH hotel properties right near the house. I got 2 emails, 1 that my booking was confirmed & 1 a few days before as a reminder of my stay. I never got the instructional email so went straight to the house, messaged the host 5 times & called with no answer. Luckily the manager was at the house doing a once over to make sure it looked great before we got there & she was awesome! She checked us in from her phone otherwise I wouldn't of had a clue what to do or go.

Beautiful location

Check in was extremely inconvenient. You are required to go to a hotel at a different location—hard to get to by car. We arrived an hour early just to get the key & go to lunch at a restaurant close to the rental unit until check-in time. The hotel door was locked & no one answered the bell. After 10 minutes walking around the building looking for another entrance, a guest came out & we went in. After a few more minutes the desk clerk appeared. He said we could not have the key until after posted check in time We just didn’t want to have to walk back 20 blocks to get a key …but he said he didn’t have a key. We had to go back later to get our key — Definitely made it a stressful afternoon The unit was good, could use a little TLC… location is excellent… We would rent again, but not from this management company.
