„Tolles Hotel, und toller Service. Allerdings hat das was in der Reservierung angegeben war nicht gestimmt. Wir haben ein familienzimmer mit separaten Wohnzimmer gebucht. Die Unterkunft hatte allerdings "nur" einzelne Zimmer. Das war auch vollkommen in Ordnung, aber wir haben halt etwas anderes gebucht und in unseren Augen auch etwas anderes bezahlt. Dennoch ist der Preis für die reale Unterkunft in Ordnung... aber halt nicht das uns versprochene Schnäppchen...“

„The property was seeped in history. We stayed in room 3, the Kings room. A lovely compact room, spotless with lovely little touches such as a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a fresh little bottle of milk, a comfy bed, feather duvet, black out curtains, great shower and toiletries. „Wasn’t aware until shortly before our visit that we’d booked during the Appleby Horse Fair so following a Police advisory, they weren’t selling alcohol. Which was a shame as I like to drink local brewery beer when away, but we were allowed to bring our own bottles. In all other respects, our stay was amazing!“

„Lovely stay in this Boutique Hotel. Everything is so tastefully put together, loved the room. Friendliest of welcome by the owner, great service at breakfast next morning. Dinner was best in 2 weeks so far. Only tiny downside is the missing AC while it was really, really hot weather. Still highly recommended!“
