„walking distance to Ramsgate Harbour. Bus stop 7 minutes from hotel. There was a loud humming noise coming from outside (it may be centarl A/C unit of hotel) that started at 6 am which was very disturbing. Do not recommend such room overlooking the back. Inclusive breakfast was far too basic like the room we booked. Better to book without it and pay for a decent breakfast. Overall, not great value for the price paid. “

„Had an excellent stay at the Old Town House. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Margate as you are a short 15min walk away from the train station and right in the old town centre next to great coffee shops, restaurants and more. The room was beautiful and clean, bed super comfortable and overall a lovely stay for the price. Really easy check in system too with keyless access. Thank you Anne & Mark“

„Having lived nearby for several years, have stayed at the hotel a couple of times, our preferred area and hotel throughout the Southeast. Lovely staff, the rooms may be slightly outdated, but traditional and cosy. Keep them as they are. Always a great selection of coffee, teas, milk on hand, hot chocolate, biscuits, kettle and nespresso machine. The food is amazing as always, breakfast with buffet, loved the crumpets. „Couldn't have asked for more for a short stay in Margate. 2 mins walk to the beach and very close to the centre and main amenities. Very dog friendly which is a plus, but still exceptionally clean. Room facilities excellent - lots of towels, very comfy bed, toiletries and plenty of tea & coffee. Jim is an exceptional host; the best we have ever had; cannot do too much for you. „Das Zimmer lag zur Hauptstrasse, auf der ununterbrochen Autos fahren, auch mitten in der Nacht. Macht man das fenster zu ist es zu stickig, macht man es auf, ist es zu laut. Das Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Im Gegensatz hierzu war das Abendessen im gut besuchten Pub hervorragend. Also wenn man dort hin möchte, dann auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer zum Garten buchen. Das hätte uns in der ersten Nacht zwar auch nicht geholfen, weil dot eine Hochzeit gefeiert wurde, aber in der zweiren Nacht ...
