„This was our annual girls trip. We have 7 in our group and the Anchor House had plenty of bedrooms and plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view. We would definitely stay here again! Location was perfect!“

„Beatiful little cottage so close to lake Huron. We were able able to conoe, fish, and swim. Then after we sat around the fire by the cottage and had some great laughs. Very comfortable conditions on the inside. Highly recommend!!“

„House had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful beach at end of road. Need more chairs by firepit so i would recommend if u r using it to bring some camp chairs . Great time in Lexington . “

„This little cottage is so cute and perfect for just two people. It's close to so many local places (Lakeview donut shop was sadly closed and for sale) and walking distance from the water! The hot tub is a nice touch and although its not covered and there's neighbors, it still felt pretty private/relaxing. If you like coffee/tea I highly recommend Lexington Coffee Co and for a good burger and/or good fish and chips, Lakeport Tavern is a must-their service was awesome too!! Id love to return to ...

„The property was great for our little getaway, our dog loved going in the water. We didn't have great weather but Doreen had the porch covered with a clear tarp and had the outdoor heaters on when we got there so we were able to enjoy the view. It was a short drive to Lexington which was perfect. Definitely would stay again.“

„Nobody all everything was as expected. No complaints. Cabin is not fancy but I knew that when I booked it and it's exactly what I expected. It has all the amenities you need including a portable air conditioner. If you want fancy go someone else but if you want something that works in budget-friendly here you go.“

However, a short distance away there were stairs to get to the water. Accommodations can house a lot of guests but upstairs bedrooms get hot even with central air. Short drive into the town of Lexington & lost internet connection due to 4 th of July crowds. Outside property is expansive & was very quiet. Could use a thorough deep cleaning, windows, cobwebs ...

„We had a wonderful time at this property! Beautiful views and ample space for our large family. But I have to boast the KINDNESS of the host. My daughter left her very expensive designer purse with her car keys in it. (My younger child actually hit it in the basket there). The host was amazing in helping us find it, personally went to all restaurants and locations to ensure we didn’t leave it anywhere else. Once found they shipped it directly to us. Will definitely use again! Thank you! “
