They thought of everything, there was a highchair, pack n' play, extra mattresses under the beds for more sleeping room. The water off the beach was clean and very minimal weeds. They had paddle boards, kayaks etc. that entertained my kids for hours. There was a family of geese who liked to wander so we did have to clean up some goose poop, but ...

„We absolutely loved our stay at The Heron House! The communication and check in/out instructions were simple and easy. The home was fully stocked with just what we needed, and included games and books which our kids loved! Elevated vintage is the perfect way to describe the home — it’s so warm and cozy. We loved the walkability to downtown Victoria for morning coffees, dinners, and ice cream. We will absolutely be back!“

„We had a weekend stay with 5 adults and 2 dogs and the space was great! Plenty of space for everyone and the outside space is perfect. Great access to the water for kayaking and paddle boarding. The sunrise views are lovely! The stay exceeded our expectations and we will be back again! Also to note, there is patio furniture (table and 8 chairs) on the upstairs deck and 2 chairs on the bottom patio that is not photographed. “

„We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there ...

„This home was easy find, lots of parking, great accessibility to unload stuff. It was clean and neat with lots of space. Communication with the host was great and the beds were very comfortable. Even had great water pressure in the shower! Seemed to have everything on hand we had forgotten and was easy to get in and out. Highly recommend! “

„What a gem of a place you have! We enjoyed the private location, the beautiful creek and the stunning willow tree on the property! It was still close enough to the baseball fields while we were in town for our son's state tournament and a stay in cabin beats a stay in a hotel any day! “
