Nestled in the mountains between Lenoir and Blowing Rock, easy access off HWY321. Guest suite is the lowest level of our home and is very private. The rental has its own private entrance and patio. Your rental is just 3.8 miles from historical Blowing Rock, you will be close to shopping,dining, skiing, hiking, and the Blue Ridge
Parkway.
OUTDOORS- A stainless gas grill allows you to cook on the covered deck while enjoying the tranquility of your surroundings. Soak in your private hot tub and enjoy the views. A gas fire pit is also available for your enjoyment!
INDOORS - You will have a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and large toaster oven. Everything you need to whip up a smaller meal or heat up some tasty leftovers. The living room has a dining table and a comfy couch that pulls out into a queen size bed. Stream your favorite shows on the smart TV. The master bedroom is an oasis for comfort! The king pillow top mattress and cozy bedding invite you to sleep in! Owners live in the main home
upstairs but will respect your privacy.
The guest suite has its own
private parking area and entrance that renters will access with a key code. Please contact owner if traveling with pets larger than 20lbs. for prior approval, failure to do so will result in extra fees. Please note if there is evidence of pets on bedding there will be an extra cleaning fee added of $100.

Mother's Day in the mountains

My husband and I love this basement apartment. It is cozy and just the right size for the two of us and our dog. The fire table and the hot tub are so relaxing. This was our third stay here. Always a great place to get away from home for a few days!!

1st Getaway Living In North Carolina

My husband and I moved to Wilmington, NC in June, 2024 from Bucks County, PA...a suburb of Philadelphia.We have traveled back to Philly 4 times for a family death and special occasions. However, we have not explored further than an hour or so from Wilmington since moving here.This trip to Lenoir, Blowing Rock and Boone was our first adventure exploring North Carolina. Our Vrbo accommodations were wonderful. Offered was a clean, comfortable, private, peaceful and quiet spot surrounded by nature. In addition, the hot tub and fire pit functioned perfectly. A relaxing way to end each day of hiking and exploring.We will return!

Kurt and Jenna were absolutely wonderful hosts. The one room apartment was VERY spacious and can easily accommodate two people and a small four-legged friend. I found the location to be perfect for a short drive to Moses Cone Park and Blowing Rock.

Best view of any place we’ve stayed

This was a great find, it was close to everywhere we planned on going, the cabin was comfortable, the amenities were fantastic and the view was amazing! Instructions on getting to the cabin were clear (be sure to read them!) and the owner was responsive and friendly. We would 100% stay here again

Just Fabulous!!

My stay was absolutely amazing!! Jenna and Kurt are fantastic hosts!! The property was beautiful and it was super clean. The hot tub was my happy place and it was so nice to relax and unwind in the evenings and mornings before and after volunteering and hiking durning the day. Nice Place Cut Short by Hurricane Helene

Stayed through a day and a half, but left after no power for more than 24 hours. Host kindly refunded our last day. Be sure to note that although listing on front page says there is a kitchen, it is really a kitchenette. No stove, just toaster oven.
