Hôtel des Bains de Saillon

"We wanted to escape the heat and also use a Hotels.com reward night (although we still had to pay 80 + 25 for our dog for the 160 CHF standard room) at the end of July. The staff was friendly and when we asked whether there is surely an aircon, since it was under the roof, they went somewhere to confirm and said "Yes the room has aircon". Well, the room did not have aircon! They had removed the remote. It was not super hot in the room, but we were not happy. We were also not happy to find trash under the bed (bad cleaning!) and that the minibar wasn't on (we needed the "fridge" for fruits). We were given a better room, but they said they have a problem with the aircon. Just so you know: THEY DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. However, the room was still fine and not too hot. Surprisingly, the baths were also really nice and refreshing even though it was 34 C outside and the baths are all 30 C+. I would absolutely not recommend it for the full price though."

"Sehr gut gelegen (nah bei Thuner Seebühne, direkt am See zum Baden, Bushaltestelle vor der Tür für Altstadt), sehr leckeres und wertiges Frühstücksbuffet, super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Schönes Zimmer mit genug Ablage- und Staufläche. Total ruhige Lage. An heissen Tagen muss ein Venti genügen, da keine Klimaanlage."

"Das Hotel ist an einer hervorragende Lage mit Blick auf die Spiezerbucht. Zimmer sind hell, komfortabel und haben alles, was das Herz begehrt. Das Personal ist sehr kundenorientiert. Frühstück reichlich und sehr schön präsentiert. Wir kommen wieder!"

"Hatte eine tolle renovierte Junior Suite mit Blick auf die Berge. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war ein weiteres Highlight. Schönes SPA mit verschiedenen Saunen und Mineralbad. Die Lage ist top, direkt neben der Seilbahnstation Betelberg. Komme gerne wieder."
