„What you see and read is what you get. Fantastic is all that needs said.“

„We really enjoyed Lazy Creek Cottage. It was the perfect weekend for our son’s Univ of SC and we loved staying in the Chapin/ Lake Murray area. The property was impeccably clean and the location idyllic overlooking the lake. We used the paddle boards and the hot tub. Jesse, the property manager was great. We would stay here again. „Helpful host!“

„The pictures of the house are heavily filtered. It says newly renovated but it is literally falling apart. The beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced as well. The walls have holes from what looks like someone trying to find a stud with a nail. The place was clean but the walls are stained. The biggest thing was the floor in the bathroom area was severely rotted to the point of falling through. I tried to contact the management company and got nothing but automated responses. ...

„The house is beautiful and the views stunning. It is very comfortable and spacious and the setting is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and you can tell that in its heyday it was a very well built home. We did have some issues that resulted in a couple poor rating areas that need to be addressed. Overall for how much it costs the toilet paper and paper towels could be nicer, not trying to complain either just being completely real. I would have so much fun doing a remodel on this house the gorgeous potential it has.“

„This was just a quick overnight stop for my party of 9. There was plenty of space for everyone. I would say this property needs some TLC and a deep clean. The cost for one night was far more than the property warranted, in my opinion.“

„Overall, we had a nice stay. We booked this property because the close proximity to our son‘s wedding venue and the rehearsal dinner at Liberty on the lake. The inside of the home was clean, and it matched the listing. The location worked well for our group, and we enjoyed our time there!!However, I do think future guests should be aware that the property could benefit from better maintenance. The outdoor areas, particularly the dock and steps, have several rotted boards. One other thing to be ...

„This house is an experience not just lodging. It would take a week just to explore all the supple nuances of this house. The location was convenient to all locations in Newberry. And convenient to Prosperity. This was ideal for our plans attending a wedding and other events. My wish is that the host provided a history of the house. We were there on the hottest day this summer. Some areas were hotter than others. We had options to set the temperature lower. But, didn't reaize it until ...
