Provide instructions on how to get there from Varenna train station by bus as in our case taxi and Uber were not available at the time, Google maps did not show the bus option, walking with luggage is not an option as it's a long steep and winding road. Tip: take the bus at the station, bus stop located at the end of the parking lot, get off at Perledo-Bologna stop and walk down to the propery.“

„We had the most beautiful stay end of July for 10 days. The owners were very welcoming, we enjoyed the breathtaking view from every room of the house. The direct access to the lake was another plus for the house. Yes, the traffic can get a bit noisy but that didn´t bother us too much. Closed to Varenna and local supermarkets.“

The main issues were, no hand soap at either sink, no dishwasher liquid to wash dishes and no extra toilet paper or garbage bags. The place was in need of a vacuum and many of the plates and glasses had collected dust and required us to rinse them before using. „Great location. Lots of restaurants minutes away. Only two fans and we stayed during really hot week, so not much relief from the heat outside“

„The space wasn’t very clean, so many bugs everywhere, cobwebs in the corner and stained sofa/seat. The view was nice but not worth the hike all the way up and down each day. There was no bus and it was very hard to get a taxi. I would recommend staying closer to the town if you’re taking the ferries. “
