„We had a fabulous two night stay at your Cottage on the Mississippi! The Cottage is charming, a place that draws you in and honestly you don't want to leave. „The property had more than enough space for my family of 6 adults. It was peaceful, minus the occasional train, with plenty to do. My adult kids loved the game room while my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It is just a short drive to town, but we did everything from grilling on the deck to playing a rowdy card game around the large table with friends. Beds were comfortable and Kara’s home was clean. We hope to stay with her again in the fall. “

„We arrived during a storm and the house was easy to find. The house itself is beautiful and cozy. For a family with toddlers there are a lot of little trinkets we had to move to ensure nothing got broke. The house is very spacious especially with the front room. The fully stocked kitchen was a dream so we didn’t have to pack as much. The view from the backyard is absolutely beautiful. The only thing I wish it had was curtains on the front room windows. “

„It was truly easy to get anywhere from this location. The property had everything I needed, including all I needed to eat in if I wanted to. Very clean and well decorated. The driveway was a bit tricky at first to get in and out of, but I quickly mastered it. I will be back. “

„This was the perfect house for our family getaway. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool and deck were perfect for the extremely hot weather during our trip. The A/C was not working when we arrived. The owner was prompt in responding and having it repaired. Couldn’t have asked for a better time with family! We will be back next year! “

„Nice cozy craftsman home. Good sized fenced area for your dog. Street is quite busy as hospital ER is down the block so lots of sirens. A convenience store/gas station in both corners a block away. House has quiet carpeted attic bonus room that would be great for kids to play or teenagers to hang out, not furnished but new carpet . Host is very easy to contact. “

„We arrived early 4th of july evening. And by sun down we got the best fireworks show. The cabin sits 10 steps from the Mississippi River. And all along the river were firework displays. The view was priceless. Quiet neighborhood but everyone waved and speaks in this community. The cabin felt like home.older feel but clean and neat. “

„We had a nice stay. Everything was as described. The owner checked with us via message.Thankfully, the A/C worked well as the temps were in the 90s with high humidity, so we were comfortable in the house at all times. We enjoyed watching river traffic through the large windows and from the new deck furniture in the early mornings!“

„You can tell the owners care for the house and want you to have a comfortable experience. It was clean and comfortable. Always felt safe in the neighborhood. Conveniently located. The light switch for the back bedroom is in the hall. It took us a while to find that one. The bathroom could use a remodel but overall the house was perfect for our weekend needs. “
