Hotels Laurieston

„The hotel is very nice, with lovely rooms and beautiful surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, although they often had to juggle multiple roles at once, which sometimes made them difficult to find. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, and if I return to Castle Douglas, I would happily stay here again.“

„Excellent service from the ladies who run the inn“

„Room were clean, but the best times of this place already have passed. Service didn’t exist much. We arrived late and a document and keys were at the reception. We informed before that we arrive around 11 pm. Nobody was available at reception to welcome us and show our rooms. We spend about 1/2 hour to figure out were our rooms were, exploring the entire ground floor area and first floor.

„We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.“

„Older property but well maintained.“

„This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area.“

„Check pub is open when you visit as its the only place in town for food.“

„Good location“

Gut, wenn man neue schottische Schimpfwörter lernen will! ;-) Ruhe und Erholung findet man hier ...
