„We were in town to watch some of our grandkids participate in the national archery tournament. This house worked perfectly for us and it also had a lot of amenities. Nice area and host was very helpful.“

„We had a weekend wedding at Gheens Foundation and this rental was a great space for us in between wedding activities. Very spacious, beds all slept great, kitchen was well equipped, nice outdoor space, and plenty of parking. My only concern was no access to the washer and dryer but it wasn’t a big deal since it was only two nights. The owner was very responsive! Great place for a large family! “

„I've stayed at this property probably 6 times now. I will always come back when I am in town for work. I love that the location is close to downtown but also feels miles away in the countryside. Its a beautiful area, close to so many attractions, and the hosts are fantastic. The master bed is the best nights sleep! Cant wait to be back again!“

„This house was prettier and more special than the pictures display. What a gem! We came in for my son’s wedding- family of the groom and it was perfect for my extended family to hang out, including my 92 yr dad. We relaxed in between activities- it is extremely convenient to Louisville and any nearby stores for last minute needs for events. Each room and patio gave a feeling of zen, peace, beauty, a wonderful way to quietly start and end the day plus also entertain in with brunches and family ...

„5 BR, 5 BA was awesome! House was very clean. The inside patio fireplace was not working but would have been nice to enjoy. Spacious house. Missing lightbulbs in light fixtures, not providing luggage racks, and nightstands in some bedrooms would have added to the amenities. „This was a "Girl Cousin's Get Away". The house was perfect for us; we had two mother/daughters, and then 3 singles. With the 2 1/2 baths it worked great and the kitchen living room area was open and big enough for lounging and visiting around the table. Weather was a bit cool that weekend and our activity schedule didn't allow us to utilize the nice back yard. „Once in a lifetime experience. So grateful to everyone who had a role in renovating this historic property. The house is a treasure with elegant wraparound porches in authentic Kentucky style. The spacious well-furnished interior achieves modern day luxury while keeping its character. The home overlooks Harrod’s Creek and we saw deer from the window. Convenient to the excellent restaurants one minute away. We are already planning a return stay.“

"After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. Friendly service, at Dinner time a bit hectic for the reasons mentioned before. Three and a half stars ***1/2* "

Pros and Cons about Embassy Suit

"The Staff are very friendly, however the hotel has some parts not in the best conditions. I had to chage rooms because of the noise of the central AC. The location is good, but a bit noisy. The CVS by the entrance is very convenient. The cleaning system is good for the environment and sacing costs, but in my case it didn't work as requested. We also had to evacuate the hotel due to a small fire at the 5th floor. It was not a pleasant experience, but I am happy that the fire alarms worked so good. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport and breakfast. The highlight are the made to order omelets! Depending on the room you can enjoy an amazing sunrise! "

"The hotel room was clean. The bathroom however desperately needs to be renovated, it is simply too old and although it is clean, it appears to be dirty. The rooms do not have a microwave, which should be updated. The personnel is very friendly and I recommend booking a room."
