Our cozy cabin is just a 3 hour drive from the Phoenix valley. Come here to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This getaway is ideal anytime of year. Sit on the front porch swing and nature watch gaggles of geese on Rainbow Lake. During the winter enjoy the local snow or take a short 45 min drive to Sunrise Ski Resort. During the summer months, when average temps are lovely in the low 80's, take out our paddle boards and paddle boat on the lake in the morning, read a book on the covered porch during the afternoon, summer-monsoon rainstorm. Then go out and explored Mogollon Rim Trail; just a 5 min drive from your home base. You'll want to see the sun set, while gazing from the Rim, over the vista of the world's largest stand of Ponderosa Trees. Finish your day around the fire pit, under the stars. Enjoy life in the country and come for the summer Rodeos in Taylor and Round Valley. If you would rather stay tucked away in your own world the cabin is primed for making memories with the ones you love most. Have a BBQ or take nap in the hammock.
