This property is under heavy construction, the gift shop, the main entrance, gourmet restaurant, the weight room were all closed for construction, but that didn't stop them from charging me a Resort Fee... Not much of a resort!
The website says "All new rooms" but what you get is a tired, old, need of repair room unless you want to upgrade to a "newly remodeled" room for $30 a day.
Our air conditioner didn't work, we ask for repair and that never came so we opened the sliding door on the balcony to cool the room down.
Apparently management did not want the front desk clerks sitting on stools greeting customers so they took the stools away, only to have the clerks sitting on the floor behind the front desk. That happened on both the day and night shift.
A member of our party is handicapped and there wasn't a parking space within a half a block designated as Handicapped Parking. No doorman, valet or bellman to be seen.
THE only redeeming grace associated with this Hotel/Casino is the Sawgrass Cafe! The place must be operated by an outside purveyor. It was clean, the staff was gracious, timely and very professional while dealing with a full house for dinner. The manager, checked with us several time during our meal to make sure that everything was done correctly and if we needed anything else.
My wife did find a "3 card Poker" dealer that she really liked. An older gentleman who cared more about customer engagement and satisfaction.
