The additional sleeping spaces share the upper-level full bathroom and are not counted as bedrooms. The game-room bed is located in a shared recreational space. A half bathroom is located on the main level.

• This is a three-level home, and stairs are required.
• Branching Out is near Lake Lure but is not lakefront and does not include private lake access.

• This is a pet-free property.
• An exterior security camera monitors the front entrance. There are no cameras inside the home.
• Cellular reception is very challenging in the Lake Lure area. This is out of our control and reception often depends on your personal carrier, but we would like to offer information about WIFI calling as it might provide a better option.

Seasonal Note: Lake Lure Drawdown
Lake Lure is scheduled for a drawdown from Jan 1–Mar 31, lowering approximately 1 ft/day to a total of 12 ft for maintenance, dredging, and dam work. Lake access and usage may be limited during this period. Water levels are expected to return to normal by mid-to-late April.

Drive times may vary due to traffic and road work. As of July 2026, Lake Lure, Washburn Marina, the floating boardwalk, Chimney Rock State Park, and many surrounding businesses are open.

Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Quiet Policy
This home is located in a peaceful, private mountain community. To preserve the relaxing setting for everyone, please keep noise to a respectful level at all times. Parties and disruptive behavior aren't permitted, and we kindly ask that you be mindful of neighbors and quiet hours starting at 10pm.

Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid-stay cleaning fees, and trash pick-up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

Military Discount

Last-Minute Bookings
For reservations made **within 7 days of arrival**, additional verification is required to protect our homeowners and guests.
This includes:
* A clear photo of a government-issued ID
* A full facial selfie of the primary guest holding that ID (must match the reservation name)
* A photo showing the last 4 digits of the payment method in the primary guest's name
