Nice condo

Great location, nice beach. Enjoyed having Duke's restaurant right there. Only complaint is some of the dishes were not clean and could have used a few more towels.

Home away from home

Nice, full kitchen with everything you need. Just buy the food. Pull out couch fits 2 Kids. Comfortable stay for 5 days, was very happy :)

Honua Kai studio

Ideal location! The location of the studio is on the north side of Hokulani tower which is great for sunset views and eating on the lanai. The unit is spacious. It was in need of a little bit of attention, kitchen faucet needing some repair so difficult to use. The counter stools could use some cleaning. The instruction booklet for the TV needs updated to match the remote and available services. The unit does not participate in the towel program so limited beach towel availability. The property manager did bring two more beach towels. Plan on extra laundry detergent so you can wash beach towels too

Beautiful resort in Maui

We came to Maui over Christmas with the entire family and we all stayed in separate condos within the Honua Kai resort. It’s a beautiful, quiet, and well maintained property with various pools fit for kids and adults of all ages. It was also nice to have Duke’s restaurant on property for a quick bite or drinks by the pool. This unit was spacious - it had the largest kitchen of the three condos we rented. Also had plenty of items for cooking and for taking to the beach. The property management company contacted us immediately on arrival and delivered a nice welcome basket. You can’t see the ocean from the lanai unless you’re standing up, but the extremely large patio with doors that open up all the way was very nice for family breakfasts. Would stay here again! Maui is pure paradise.

Awesome stay at Honua Kai!

We had a blast at our recent stay at Honua Kai resort! The location right on the beach can not be beat! The grounds were immaculate and our room was sparkling with all the amenities we needed for a great anniversary vacation! Dukes restaurant that was right on the property was fantastic! Great drinks and even better food! Would highly recommend Honua Kai resort! Will be looking to come back for a couples trip in the future!

Loved every minute. Check in was easy. Parking was easy. Check out was easy. Rental company kept in contact and made sure we didn’t need anything. Bed was comfy. Loved that there was an ice chest and beach chairs to use. We felt like we had almost everything that we needed. The only thing that I feel that was needed was maybe one more set of beach towels provided. If we went to the beach during the day, we had to wash our towels to use for the pool in the evening. But that was the only improvement that I would’ve made. I would definitely stay again

Perfect place in Maui

The condo was perfect and gave you all of the amenities you would want from a hotel but even more with the large kitchen. Property has multiple pools and right on the beach as well. Fitness center, marketplace, coffee and Duke’s. Parking was also super easy and convenient. Absolutely would stay again.

This is a lovely property on the beach. The unit itself is very nice, spacious, with a large and well equipped modern kitchen. Very clean!! There is a table on the patio which is ideal if you enjoy eating outdoors..or even just having your morning coffee. Beach towels and chairs were provided which was very helpful. Parking was great..underground and free! Would definitely come back again!

Great stay

The property was clean and as discribed by owner. We had some issues with gaining entry into the room. Called the emergency number as directed in the email. The problem was immediately fixed and the staff on the phone was very pleasant to deal with. The resort was clean and beautifully landscaped. All in all it was a beautiful relaxing stay.

Beautiful property. Clean and well stocked room. Gorgeous views from the lanai. Close to everything. Sea turtles swimming right in the ocean off the beach. Food trucks and restaurants walking distance. Will absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful unit - Management needs some help

We stayed at the resort for a week, and enjoyed the proximity of this specific unit to the view off the terrace. It is shared with about 5 other units, but gorgeous. The room offered outdoor beach chairs and towels and a cooler, which was helpful not to rent them. However, the room had not been reviewed by the Management Company (they said their final review of the room had not taken place). We couldn't use the key given to us; the room was not properly ready for an occupant. Items still in dryer, dirty dish in the cupboard, no paper products - no TP or paper towels, soap, etc. I do not blame this on the owner or let it reflect the nice unit. However, it was not prepared for our stay. They delivered what we needed in a timely manner. I also reported about four minor items needing attention in the unit (and frankly, the owners should know whether the management company corrected these or not prior to the next occupant). They get you in and out on time; but when are repairs made?? I give our week a 10 out of 10; but the management company about a 4 out of 10.

Great condo

Everything was great about the property, very clean, property management was very communicative and we had a great time. Just a couple things to note, the listing does not hide the fact that the lanai is shared, however it was annoying to have the kids staying in a suite adjoining ours not respect our privacy and they kept looking into our suite. I knew it was shared up front and I am not mad at all, just something for future renters to consider. Also you cannot use the resort towel service, you have to use the two towels the rental provides which led to us doing laundry every night. Not a big deal as we had laundry and plenty of detergent but just something to consider if you plan on renting this suite.

Great Place

The place was clean, and well taken care of. Everything we needed for our 3 night stay was provided. My only issue is with My Perfect Stay- we disconcerted a dead pigeon on the patio, so we called to have someone remove it. They didn’t respond until the next day with a phone call, and we had already left the property. Besides the dead pigeon, we would stay at the property again.

Great location and amenities

We loved our 3 day stay at this studio. It looks exactly as pictured and was spotless. Everything we needed was provided. The resort is lovely and steps away from the beach. The only thing we didn't like much was the mattress - it felt a bit saggy. Would 100% recommend this place for couples/small families.
