Easy walk to a nice beach and the neighborhood was very quiet, so we could hear all of the birds in the morning. Also an easy drive to Mariposa, the festival we were going to in Orillia. Unfortunately the restaurant near the beach was closed, but we ate in when we weren’t at the festival. We did not get a chance to meet the owner, but she reached out to see if we needed anything. “

We loved relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the peaceful scenery, and the kayaks were a great way to explore the water right from the property. „The boathouse was awesome! The view of Lake Simcoe is unbeatable and the sunset was amazing. The water was warm but bring water shoes if you wish to swim near the dock. The host provides lots of water toys to make the lake enjoyable. We will look to return here next season for sure! Thank you John for a great getaway.“

„It was a quaint lovely cottage. Very clean. The communication with the owner was very fluid. The neighbours where we stayed and those we encountered on our walk, were very friendly. The only downside was that we thought it did face the lake... All in all we had a great stay !!“

„My family and I have stayed at multiple cottages via vrbo but this one was our favourite up to date. The hosts are kind, friendly and responsive. The cottage has everything you need, fully stocked and is fairly clean. We went here mid July for 2 days and the weather was warm and sunny. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking and I loved how the water is so warm, crystal clear and perfect in every way. I highly recommend water shoes since the water is rocky. I will definitely be returning!
