"The staff were wonderful. I travel with my dog and have never stayed anywhere where ALL the staff were so dog friendly.
The food was excellent. Breakfast was a large buffet with FRESH juice every morning. We ate in the bar several times and had room service and all was to an excellent standard.
The spa is modern and very relaxing. I can highly recommend their signature "Viaggio Sensoriale a Lugano" treatment. It was amongst the best spa treatments I've ever had. Expensive, but worth every penny. Ask for Lisa. She's incredible.
The rooms we stayed in were outdated and definitely need a refurb. But they were large, so lots of space. We stayed in the building on the left. I believe the main building has far more updated rooms. Of course they are priced accordingly.
The surrounding area is lovely. Lugano is small, quaint and beautiful with lots of great food, shopping and cultural options. I hiked from Paradiso to Morcote with my dog, which we both recommend :-)
Also took a ferry which is a great way to get around. Avoid the buses at rush hour."
