The Space:
This lovely home in La Paz is in a magnificent location overlooking the Sea of Cortez and La Paz Bay. It will provide a luxurious escape and become the perfect place to make fun new memories and collect vacation stories!

Getting Around:
The home is about 12 miles | 19 km or about a 25-30 min drive to/from the Airport (LAP) and a it’s a 2 hr 45 min drive or 123 miles | 198 km to/from San Jose del Cabo International Airport (SJD).

Other Things to Note:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom).

Starting July 31st, improvement works will begin on the internal roads of Las Colinas. These works are estimated to take around two weeks to complete. Please be aware that vehicle access to the property may be temporarily affected during this time.

Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room.

Wi-Fi, SmartTVs, bed linens, bath towels and some essentials are provided free for guests during your stay.

The TVs are equipped with streaming services to provide various entertainment options. Please note that cable channels are not available.

We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels.

Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out.

Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee in this case, charged on the day of check in.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

There is a penalty of $20.00 USD for late check-outs.

The use of the golf cart is at your own risk. By booking with us, you agree to the golf cart responsibility letter and liability waiver.

Please note that the pool is not heated.

HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed on the premises. Smoking tobacco, cannabis or the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during your stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please avoid hanging any towels, bathing suits or clothing on the balcony/terrace railings.
- Please avoid sitting on the sofas while wearing wet clothes - this practice stains fabrics and creates mold. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay.
- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD.

Please note that you may hear dogs barking during your stay, as some neighboring homes have dogs.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, with exclusive access to the home and private terraces. Also enjoy unlimited access to Puerta Cortes Beach Club and exclusive access to Las Colinas Pool.

Beautiful Home and Great Location

We recently stayed at this beautiful home and chose it for its great location and access to Puerta Cortés amenities. The house itself is spacious, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a huge plus, and the included golf cart made getting around the area easy and fun.The VRBO agents were also a highlight—they responded quickly to all our messages, were very kind, and even allowed us to adjust our original booking dates, which we truly appreciated.However, there were a few issues that kept this from being a full five-star experience. When we arrived, we found out from Puerta Cortés staff that the Blue Cortés pool would be closed for repairs for three days. This wasn’t communicated to us in advance, and since access to that amenity was a big part of our decision to book here, it was disappointing.Also, while the listing stated there was a working dryer and dishwasher, neither appliance worked during our stay. A few basic supplies were also missing—there was no extra toilet paper provided, and the water jug that was supposed to come with the unit was empty on arrival.Overall, we had a great time and truly enjoyed the home. We'd still recommend it, especially for the location and overall comfort.

Las colinas is a perfect getaway that will satisfy everyone's idea of fun. First off great parking. Then you have a golf cart to run down to the beach club where the group that wants to lay in the sun and have a drink can do that. While someone can ride a bicycle right down the hill to the malicone. You are 20 minutes away from balandra beach. We go fishing out of the harbor.babaminutes away from the laundry Beach

Very Nice Property

Once again, we sincerely enjoyed our stay at Puerta Cortes. This was our first year in this home, and everything was pretty much as advertised. Very nice home, in a secure location, and in good condition. Our only complaint regards the safe in the closet. It does not work. We were there for two weeks and the property managers were unable to fix it, after repeated requests from us to have it repaired. But that’s it! Everything else was fine. It will be interesting to see how the hotel development, currently being built across the highway, will impact the view from this home in the future. Again however, we sincerely enjoyed our stay and we would return. Thank you!
