„Small but has everything you would need. The foldaway bed didn’t work very well so keep that in mind if you need more than three beds. The rest of the beds were fine. “

„We enjoyed the French Island vibe. We ate at River Rats and Tom Sawyers, great food and people. Enjoyed the dock and fishing. Wish beach was little cleaner but it is spring. Ceiling fans all worked and slept great. Liked the king size bed. Couldn’t find a sheet they said was left with WiFi info. They did get that to us. Was a perfect Mother’s Day weekend in the La crosse area.“

„This is a well located property, short distance to basic needs and attractions. Property is clean and inviting and has a very home like feel. The yard is fenced in and kept our small dogs safe and secure.We definitely will be back.“

„Enjoyed our stay. House worked out great- the number of beds/bedrooms and having 2 bathrooms was wonderful. Close to the downtown- easy 30 minute walk.“

„We enjoyed the serenity of the property. A quiet place for 2 old friends to catch up. The house was very comfortable, everything seemed brand new & it was sparkling clean. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Would suggest adding a railing to the boat dock for safety. “

„We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!“

„Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Views were incredible. Little bit of odd layout - there is no separate door to primary bathroom and the shower is very tiny in there- think cruise ship small. Soaps, shampoo and conditioner were provided. Very large jetted tub, but didn’t see a plug for that, so think it is not useable. Good location- less than 15 minutes to downtown La Crosse and very quiet neighborhood.“

„We loved every minute at Hidden Hill! Our family enjoyed all the comforts of home in this beautiful retreat, with all the conveniences one could ask for. There were 10 of us, ages 4 to 71, and we all felt so comfortable. We appreciated all the amenities, and we loved the beautiful views of trees and bluffs from every room, from the patio, and from the spacious deck. „It was fine. Door code given was not correct so we had to call the property manager (big company, not just a homeowner). That got taken care of quick. House is fine, a little janky. There was only one trash can in the entire house. Definitely needed one in the bathroom. No rags for showers. A remote was broken in the main room. Saw a mouse run in the kitchen one day. „Booked in November for May 2025 UW-L College graduation. It was perfect! I booked this as it was close to ceremony location, it allowed us to gather for a meal after the ceremony and visit, had 3 rooms ( becuz in Nov who knows who is really coming or not ), water view and price.
