„My friends and I came away very pleased with our no-frills wilderness camping on Rod's property. He has the best view of the Huron Mtns I've seen, with a better perspective on the south faces than Pt Abbaye. They really lit up in the sun with peak color all over. „Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO. „The house was perfect! It was the perfect home base for exploring the Keweenaw each day and the perfect place to relax each evening. The sun room is amazing and waking up in bed each day to see the sunrise over the lake was lovely. The lake was calm most our time there but still lovely to listen to each day. I have no complaints or suggestions bc it’s already the best. “
